Is Sparkle really free?
Yes. Sparkle is currently free to download from the App Store and ready to use straight away.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There is no sign-up, email address, or password. Add your first child and get started.
Does Sparkle work without internet?
Yes. Sparkle works locally on your device. Optional iCloud sync needs a connection, but everyday use does not.
What age is Sparkle designed for?
Sparkle was designed for families with children roughly aged 4 to 12. Tasks, stars, and rewards can be adapted to the individual child.
Can rewards reduce a child's own motivation?
They can, especially for something a child already enjoys. We recommend clear goals chosen together, specific encouragement, and gradually fading out stars once a routine begins to hold.
Can clubs or schools use Sparkle?
After-school clubs and consistent small groups can use Sparkle on a shared, managed device. Schools should review the intended use, device setup, and privacy requirements with the responsible team first.
Where is our data stored?
On your device and—if enabled—in your private iCloud account. Anka TMS cannot access names, tasks, stars, or rewards.
